HOW TO APPLY


Please read the guidelines below carefully before you proceed with application.

 

The licensing process for all road furniture/assets under the Unbundled Assets Approval (UAA) will be different for each revenue generating asset since these assets have different requirements. The processes will always be in accordance with the Bureau of Public Procurement (BPP) guidelines and Infrastructure Concession Regulatory Commission (ICRC) guidelines where applicable.


There are two main categories of prospective applicants namely:


1.      Existing license and asset permit holders

2.      New applicants

 

1. For existing license and asset permit holders:

 

Existing license and asset permit holders are required to validate their approvals . This will be updated on the  Ministry's database.

Step 1/3: Applicants are expected to validate using the “click here to apply” link at the bottom of this page.


Step 2/3: Applicants are expected to enter basic company details after completing registration and indicate that they are existing permit holders.


Step 3/3: Applicants are expected to upload all documents that fulfils all the detailed requirements necessary for validation.


 

2. For new license and permit applications:


New applicants for licenses and asset permits are required to apply based on the new guidelines developed for this initiative. This ensures that the Ministry's database is updated real time regarding the assets on the right of way.

Step 2/3: Applicants are expected to enter basic company details after completing registration.


Step 3/3: Applicants are also expected to upload all documents that fulfills all the detailed requirements relating to the selected asset.

 

Note: All requirements and applications are in line with Federal Ministry of Works and Housing regulations that guide the use of the highway right of way. The Federal Ministry of Works and Housing would evaluate these applications and feedback will be given to applicants through their profiles on the HDMI portal and through the official communication channels they provided during registration.
